Round Table, Area Zimbabwe
Who We Are
Round Table is an international organisation of young, like-minded men who aspire to live by the aims and objects of the organisation:
- To develop the fellowship of young men through the medium of their business and professional occupations and community service activities;
- To encourage active and responsible citizenship by cultivating the highest ideals in business, professional and civic traditions;
- To promote and further international understanding, friendship and cooperation;
- To promote the extension of the Round Table movement throughout the world.
Area Zimbabwe constitutes the collection of Round Table clubs, or Tables, within Zimbabwe that operate under the auspices of Round Table Central Africa (RTCA), which is itself an association of Round Table International (RTI).
Definition by Experience
What is a Tabler?
As a Past President of RTCA, I have been asked to write something short for our Web site and thought I would touch on my experience as a Tabler. What is a Tabler? Over the years I have come to realise that a Tabler is best defined as a friend you have not yet met and I have made so many friends (Tablers) all over the place.
From the RTI President
Dear visitor and friend of Round Table, Area Zimbabwe,
On behalf of Round Table International, I welcome you on the website of our brothers in Zimbabwe. Together, we are with more than 32,000 members (Tablers) worldwide. We’re active in more than 50 countries, spreading from New Zealand to Brasil, from Norway to South Africa.
In the Africa Region
Round Table is a great family with members around the world and our brothers from the Africa Regions are the perfect examples of young professionals who dedicate their time to foster fellowship but also contribute towards the less fortunate of our societies.
